Yesterday when the iPhone 4 was announced, Steve Jobs said something that I feel was not really picked up on by many news outlets. At around 1:43:33 in the keynote speech, Steve says “Apple will ship tens of millions of FaceTime devices this year.”
Tens of millions of devices. Not iPhones. Devices.
Sounds to me like a FaceTime iPod Touch is on its way. If I were a dreamer, I’d say maybe we’ll see FaceTime hit not only OS X, but possibly even *gasp* the Apple TV.
I’ll keep dreaming.
